About Us

Therapeutic Living Services (TLS) has proudly served the Albuquerque community since 1977.

We began when a small group of community leaders recognized the need to establish a caring, rehabilitative home for individuals suffering from long term mental illness. A group home called Haven House marked our humble beginnings.

Over the next 30 years, TLS has grown to meet the needs of the consumers we serve. We now offer supported living options for individuals diagnosed with severe, disabling mental illness in two group homes, one specifically for individuals dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. In addition, TLS owns two apartment complexes, has a large family residence, and offers rental assistance for consumers in apartments scattered throughout Albuquerque.

TLS became a State of New Mexico licensed Community Mental Health Center in 2000.
